HOT FUDGE BROWNIE CAKE
Delicious chocolate brownies over molten hot fudge. This dessert is great served hot with vanilla or mint ice cream.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Mix flour, white sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and baking powder together in a bowl. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract; mix thoroughly. Pour batter into an ungreased 9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder on top. Pour hot water on top immediately before baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a cake layer forms on top and springs back when lightly pressed, 30 to 40 minutes.

I love hot fudge brownie sundae's. I use to eat them at the popular resturant at that time, Big Boys when I was a young teen and then we would go bowling. Now I feel really old. But it is one of my fondest memories and is still my favorite dessert. And don't I love being able to do this in the crockpot! Comes out warm... and top...

Steps:
- 1. Combine all bottom layer ingredients in bowl. Spread into greased 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Mix together topping ingredients, completely dissolving cocoa and sugar in boiling water. Pour over batter. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Turn off slow cooker and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Stir together flour, next 3 ingredients, and 3/4 cup granulated sugar in a large bowl.
- Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla.
- Spread batter in a lightly greased 8-inch square pan.
- Combine brown sugar, cocoa, and remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar in a small bowl; sprinkle over batter in pan.
- Using a spoon, gently drizzle 1 1/2 cups boiling water over batter, being careful not to disturb layers. (Do not stir.).
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until a cake layer forms on top and layer springs back when touched.
- Let cool on a wire rack 25 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- VARIATION: Chocolate-Cherry Pudding Cake: Thaw 1 (12-oz.) package frozen dark, sweet, pitted cherries; drain. Pat cherries dry with paper towels. Prepare recipe as directed through Step 2, gently sprinkling cherries over batter in pan. Proceed with recipe as directed.
- VARIATION: Mocha Pudding Cake: Substitute hot freshly brewed coffee for boiling water. Proceed with recipe as directed.

- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine the flour, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a bowl with a whisk until well combined. Combine the milk, oil, and vanilla in a measuring cup. Pour into the flour mixture and stir until no lumps remain.
- Spray an 8x8 pan with baking spray, and pour the batter into the pan.
- Combine the brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder in a separate bowl. Mix it together well, and sprinkle over the top of the batter.
- Slowly drizzle the boiling water over the top of the dry mix on the cake. Pour carefully, and make sure that the water doesn't pour through to the batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top layer is cakey. Let cool for 10 minutes and serve warm with ice cream on top.
