A deliciously different Make-Ahead hot sandwich. Easy to prepare and requires just 20 minutes to bake. Cut in quarters for appetizers.

12 slices white bread
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans chicken breasts, drained
3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped or grated
1/2 cup green olives, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons dehydrated diced onions
3/4 cup mayonnaise
4 ounces cold pack sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Trim crust from bread.
  • Mix butter and cheese together and spread on the bread slices.
  • Mix together chicken, eggs, olives, onions, and mayonnaise.
  • Spread mixture on 6 slices of bread.
  • Place remaining bread slices, cheese side up, over the chicken filling.
  • Place sandwiches in single layer on large baking sheet.
  • ***Torefrigerate for later baking, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate now.
  • ***Preheat oven to 400 Degrees.
  • Heat sandwiches, uncovered, for about 20 minutes or until hot and cheese topping melts and bread is toasted.

1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
1/2 cup celery slices
1/4 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
6 hamburger buns, partially split

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix chicken, VELVEETA, celery and dressing.
  • Fill buns with chicken mixture. Wrap in foil.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
