1 quart fresh strawberries, diced
1 (13 1/2 ounce) carton strawberry glaze
9 Hostess Twinkies
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) carton Cool Whip

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix together the strawberries and glaze; set aside.
  • Slice the Twinkies in half lengthwise; place in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish with cream side up.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with an electric mixer, until smooth; fold in the whipped topping.
  • Spread over the Twinkies.
  • Spoon strawberry mixture on top.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then serve.

1 box hostess twinkies(12)
1 box jello instant vanilla pudding
bananas
1 box frozen strawberries, or fresh when in season
1 container extra creamy cool whip
nuts of choice(optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Slice twinkies in half and place in bottom of a 9x13 pan. Slice bananas and put on top of twinkies to cover. Make box of pudding according to pkg. directions. Place pudding on top of banana layer. Place strawberries on top of pudding layer. Place cool whip on top of strawberry layer. Garnish with nuts. Chill until pudding is set. Serve.

2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cold water
2 teaspoons vanilla
7 egg yolks
7 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
6 tablespoons flour (rounded)
1 1/2 cups Butter Flavor Crisco
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup cold milk (scant)
2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • To make the Cakes - In a large bowl, mix the first 4 ingredients. Make a well and add the next 4 ingredients. Beat until smooth with a spoon and set aside. Beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Pour over egg yolk batter and fold in until well beaten. Pour in an ungreased 10x14 pan. Bake 45-50 minutes. Cool in pan. Invert in pan with cups under each corner. Cool completely and run a knife around the edge. Remove and cut in half.
  • To make the Filling - Combine the first 3 ingredients and beat on high for 5 minutes, gradually adding the milk and vanilla. Beat 5 more minutes on high. Spread between 2 layers. Cut to size (3x1 inch) and wrap separately.

1 (18.75 ounce) can ready-to-use strawberry glaze
8 Twinkies
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Combine strawberries and glaze in a small bowl.
  • Slice Twinkies in half lengthwise, and place in a single layer over the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Fold in whipped topping, and spread mixture over Twinkies. Spoon berries over cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill 30 minutes or more. Refrigerate leftovers.
