Steps:

  • Combine 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila and 1/2 ounce each fresh lime juice and orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau) in a shaker with ice; shake to chill. Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Top with 3 ounces chilled orange soda. Garnish with an orange slice.

2 ounces cinnamon syrup (see Cook's Note)
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce orange juice
Flamed orange peel, for garnish (see Cook's Note)

Steps:

  • Add first four ingredients to cocktail shaker. Add ice, shake and strain into ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with flamed orange peel.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3-4 medium blood oranges
1 medium lime
2 ounce(s) agave tequila
1 ounce(s) triple sec or cointreau liquer
- coarse sea or kosher salt
- crushed ice

Steps:

  • Squeeze blood oranges to make at least 4 ounces of blood orange juice Squeeze lime to make at least 1 ounce lime juice Mix together with tequila in glass jar and set aside
  • Place salt on saucer. Wet rim of margarita glass with lime juice and dip in salt. Fill glass with crushed ice. Pour tequila and juice mixture slowly over ice Add triple sec or cointreau Stir gently just until mixed
  • ALTERNATE METHOD: You can put ice in a blender; then pour tequila mixture and cointreaU or triple sec into blender and process until you have a frozen margarita.
