Hey pecan lovers! Give these Honey Roasted Pecans a try next time you are craving a sweet and salty snack. Easy to prepare in the oven, these roasted pecans are hard to resist.

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 cups pecan halves
2 tablespoons honey (warmed slightly)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Like a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  • In medium bowl stir together all ingredients. Pour onto baking sheet and spread to single layer.
  • Bake for 6 minutes. Stir. Bake for another 5 to 8 minutes or until lightly roasted. (Be careful not to burn your pecans.)
  • Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  • Store in airtight container.

These glazed cinnamon pecans make a delicious snack or gift, and are wonderful as a topping for salads or desserts.

125 grams pecan halves (1 cup)
3 tablespoons honey* (see notes below)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
a pinch salt
a pinch pepper (freshly ground)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 180℃/160℃ fan/350℉ and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the pecans and honey and mix together till well coated. Then spread the pecans out on the parchment paper in a single layer.
  • In a small bowl, combine the sugar with cinnamon, salt and ground pepper and sprinkle over the pecans.
  • Bake on the middle shelf for 5 minutes, then remove and stir the pecans and bake for a further 7 minutes. Allow to cool before separating and using/storing.

1 cup pecan halves, or halves and pieces
1 tablespoon honey
Pinch of fine salt

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Line an oven safe dish or a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the honey and pecans until thoroughly coated. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and toss once or twice more.
  • Bake for up to 15 minutes. Take care not to over-caramelize the nuts, which will taint the honey flavor.
  • Cool at least 10 minutes, and serve. Store in a sealed container for up to six months.

1 tablespoon water
2 ¼ cups pecan halves
½ cup white sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees F (105 degrees C). Lightly grease a rimmed baking pan.
  • Combine the egg white and water in a mixing bowl; beat until fluffy. Fold in the pecans to coat evenly. Combine the sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon in a shaker or cup with a lid. Dust the pecans evenly with the sugar mixture. Spread the nuts over the prepared pan.

1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 ½ cups whole almonds
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Beat egg whites with salt in a bowl until frothy; add sugar gradually, beating to stiff peaks. Gently fold in pecans, almonds, and cinnamon. Pour mixture onto a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan, drizzle melted butter over top, and toss to coat.
