3/4 cup honey
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Special K cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring honey and peanut butter to a boil. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla and cereal. , Press into an ungreased 9-in. square pan. Spread chocolate over bars. Chill until firm.

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey or light corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups Cheerios™ cereal
1/2 cup salted peanuts

Steps:

  • Butter 9-inch square pan. In 3-quart saucepan, heat sugar and honey just to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Stir in cereal and peanuts until evenly coated.
  • Press evenly in pan, using buttered back of spoon. Cool 1 hour. For squares, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows. Store loosely covered.

Nonstick cooking spray, for spraying the baking dish
3 1/2 cups toasted oat cereal
1 cup mini marshmallows
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Combine the oat cereal and marshmallows in a large bowl.
  • Combine the butter, brown sugar, honey and salt in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer. Cook for 1 minute, then carefully stir in the vanilla. Add the cereal mixture and stir to coat completely.
  • Spread the mixture in the prepared baking dish and press into an even layer. Allow to cool and set, about 1 hour, before cutting into squares.

These tasty and sweet bars include Honey Nut Cheerios ™, honey, brown sugar, and honey-roasted peanuts, for a delightful snack!

5 c. Honey Nut Cheerios ™
2 c. honey-roasted peanuts
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
2/3 c. honey
4 tbsp. butter

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine cereal and peanuts.
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, and butter.
  • Stirring frequently, bring the mixture to a boil, and boil for exactly 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, and pour the honey mixture over the cereal mixture.
  • Stir to combine, and press into the bottom of a lightly greased 8x11-inch pan.
  • Allow 15-20 minutes for the bars to set.
  • Cut into 12 bars, and enjoy!
