1 cup olive oil
16 to 20 fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup minced fresh rosemary
4 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
Italian bread, cubed

Steps:

  • Place the first five ingredients in a blender; cover and process until desired consistency. Transfer to a small bowl. Stir in vinegar. Serve with bread cubes.

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, Crisco brand recommended
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese, grated
fresh ground black pepper
French baguettes or Italian bread

Steps:

  • Combine seasoning and olive oil on a 6-inch plate. Top with Parmesan cheese. Dip slices or pieces of crusty bread into oil. ENJOY! :-).

1/4-1/2 cup(s) extra vigin olive oil
3 tablespoon(s) minced italian parsley ( flat leaf)
2 - cloves fresh garlic crushed ( must be fresh)
1/4 teaspoon(s) dried red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon(s) fresh ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon(s) herbes de provence
4 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
Dash - coarse sea salt

Steps:

  • I use a mini prep food processor for this and it makes it very simple. Pour your oil into small bowl. Add: minced parsley,crushed garlic, add dried herbs and balsamic and whisk. I let stand for about 1/2 hour before serving with Hot crusty bread. Fabulous and EASY!!
  • There are variations to this as well: Some like it hot!!! Add more red pepper or dash of cayenne pepper. I have also used roasted garlic for people who are not garlic lovers, it gives it a sweeter, mellow garlic taste. Add black olives and puree for a yummy tapenade. Mix it up and find your own way, yummy and good for you!! ;-)
