HERBAL ICED TEA
Great refreshing summer time drink. This is from the Barefoot Contessa Family Style cookbook. I just add the lemon. Perfect for sipping on a Southern U.S. veranda.

Steps:
- Steep the tea bags in boiling water for ten minutes, and discard tea bags.
- Combine herb tea with the apple juice and refrigerate until cold.
- Serve over ice with lemon slices.

- Steep the 8 tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water for about 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags. Combine the tea with the apple juice and refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice.
FRUITED HERBAL ICED TEA

Steps:
- Place tea bag in 1 quart of boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag. Pour tea into a 1 gallon pitcher filled with ice. Once the ice melts, fill the remaining space in the pitcher with water. Fill a cocktail shaker with one half of brewed tea and one half orange juice. Shake well and strain into an ice filled tumbler glass. Garnish with orange wheel and mint leaves.
SIMPLE HERBAL ICED TEA (SUGAR-FREE)
I've been trying to get myself off coffee and fizzy drinks, and this seems to be the perfect solution for me. I'm posting the recipe as sugar-free, because that's how I like it (and this is MY recipe, after all), but feel free to mess it up as much as you like.

- Pour the water into an appropriate pitcher or empty bottle.
- Add the two tea bags.
- Let steep for at least two hours or overnight in the fridge.
