COPYCAT 57 SAUCE

Copycat 57 Sauce image

This is our homemade version of our favorite steak sauce. We use it on everything from steaks, chicken, pork, burgers, or to dip our fries in! Great for basting grilled chicken, or Bbq ribs! Also good to add into a marinade. -Erin Wright, Wallace, Kansas

HEINZ 57 CHICKEN

Heinz 57 Chicken image

This recipe was on the back of a bottle of Heinz 57 Sauce years ago and I lost the recipe. It recently popped back up in an Ore Ida ad for their grillers. The chicken is so easy and tastes so good, so I'm putting it in Food.com for safe keeping.

HEINZ 57® COPYCAT

Heinz 57® Copycat image

Someone left the bottle empty in the fridge (well, just a few drops is the same as empty). I had just enough to copy it, then when I brought a sample to my unsuspecting taste-tester, he liked mine better than the original! I washed my Heinz 57® bottle, multiplied this recipe to fill 'er up, and haven't bought another name brand since. Hope you like it!
