Oreo cookie crust,carmel, ice cream and hot fudge... this is a chocolate lovers delight. The kids in our family request this instead of birthday cake. Warning; this is not Weight Watcher Friendly.

1 chocolate cookie pie crust
1 pint vanilla ice cream (semi-softened)
1/2 cup caramel topping
1/2 cup hot fudge topping
1/2 cup pecans (chopped) (optional)
1 cup whipped topping (optional)

Steps:

  • Set vanilla ice cream out to soften slightly.
  • Spread carmel topping in the bottom of oreo cookie crust.
  • Spread partially thawed vanilla ice cream over carmel topping.
  • Put in freezer until firm; about 1-2 hours.
  • Remove and drizzle hot fudge topping over top.
  • If desired sprinkle with nuts and a dollop of whipped topping.
  • Keep stored in the freezer to keep ice cream & crust from becoming soggy until ready to serve or if there are leftovers.

This is an incredibly easy rich and satisfying ice cream dessert made with ice cream sandwiches and fudge sauce. This keeps in the freezer very well and can be eaten straight from the freezer.

1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
¾ cup peanut butter
19 ice cream sandwiches
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup salted peanuts

Steps:

  • Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave until hot, about 2 minutes on high, stopping every 30 seconds. Do not allow to boil. Stir peanut butter into hot chocolate until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches. Spread half the whipped topping over the sandwiches. Spoon half the chocolate mixture over that. Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers. Freeze until firm, at least 1 hour. Cut into squares to serve.

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
6 (1 1/2 ounce) bars chocolate-covered english toffee bars, chopped (or a package of pre-chopped Heath candy bars)

Steps:

  • 1. Spread caramel into pie crust.
  • 2. beat milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in whipped topping and chopped candy bars. Spoon into crust.
  • 3. Freeze for 4 hours or until set. Before serving, let stand 15 minutes so that pie can easily be cut.

1/2 cup butter
2 unsweetened chocolate squares
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
3/4 cup evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Over medium low heat melt butter and chocolate squares, take off heat.
  • Add 1/3 of the sugar and 1/3 of the evaporated milk, mix with a whisk until smooth.
  • Add remaining sugar and milk, stir until smooth.
  • Return to heat and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Pour into canning jars or other container, let cool and close jar. Note: This is not a canning recipe, the canning jars are just a cute way to give it as a gift.
  • Recipe can be doubled.
