3 (16 ounce) cans great northern beans
1 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
1/2 lb cubed cooked ham
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix together all ingredients.
  • Place in a buttered 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cover with foil.
  • Bake at 350F for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Remove foil and bake for 20-30 minutes more.

This is a recipe I had found years ago with a few changes. It has become one of my husband's favorites.

2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 c chopped onion
1/3 c green pepper seeded and chopped
1 can(s) 20 ounces pineapple chunks, reserve juice
1 pkg wieners, sliced
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2/3 c light brown sugar
1/2 c ketchup
2 can(s) 1 pound each, baked beans, drained

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain pineapple chunks, reserving juice. Set juice aside for now.
  • 2. In large skillet saute onion, green pepper, pineapple and wieners in olive oil until peppers and onions are softened and pineapple and wieners begin to brown slightly. Add reserved pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar and ketchup. Stir to combine well. Heat until mixture begins to bubble.
  • 3. Place drained beans in a 2 quart casserole. Pour vegetable/wiener mixture into casserole with beans. Stir well to combine.
  • 4. Bake in preheated oven 30-45 minutes. ENJOY!

4 cups chopped onion
1 package (2 pounds) dark brown sugar
2 pounds cubed fully cooked ham
1 bottle (28 ounces) ketchup
1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup prepared mustard
1/3 cup vinegar

Steps:

  • In several large bowls, combine all the ingredients. Divide among four greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pans. , Cover tightly; bake at 350° for 1-1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 20-30 minutes more or until bubbly.

1/2 cup bottled hot-style barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain.
  • Add in ketchup, barbecue sauce, and brown sugar; stir to combine.
  • Stir in beans and pineapple; transfer to an ungreased 2 quart casserole dish.

Steps:

  • 1. In a large roasting pan mix (6) 16 ounce cans of Busch pork-n-beans with (4) 12 ounce cans of Dole pineapple chunks (one can of whole pineapple rings reserve) add the juice of 2 cans only - add 2 lbs. of cooked crumbled bacon...you can choose to use cocktail weiners or cubed ham. Than take a medium bowl & mix 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar-3/4 cup of bbq sauce-2/3 cup of honey mix well pour into the beans & blend well. Cook uncovered on 400 degrees in oven for 2 hours stirring once each hour than reduce oven to 350 & cook at this temperture for the remaining hour. When finished stir once more than add one can of whole pineapple rings that have been broiled lightly with brown sugar on top. Serve them on top of the beans so yummy :) Optional you can add green pepper if you like.

3 tablespoons bourbon whiskey or reserved pineapple juice
1 tablespoon instant coffee

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°.2. In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, drain on paper towels and crumble set aside. Discard all but 2 tablespoons of the drippings.3. Add onion and saute until tender. With a slotted spoon, remove onion from skillet and place in a 2-quart baking dish.4. To baking dish, add pork and beans, frankfurters, pineapple, brown sugar, chili sauce, bourbon or pineapple juice, and coffee granules. Gently stir to thoroughly mix ingredients. Sprinkle with bacon.5. Bake for 50 minutes or until beans are bubbly and juice has thickened.

1 red onion, diced
1 cup diced pineapple
1 cup Baker's Corner Brown Sugar
1 ½ teaspoons Stonemill Essentials Chili Powder
½ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Ground Cumin
¼ teaspoon Stonemill Essentials Ground Cinnamon
1 cup Burman's Hickory BBQ Sauce*
½ cup Burman's Ketchup
½ cup Burman's Honey Mustard
28 ounces Dakota's Pride Homestyle Baked Beans
15.5 ounces Dakota's Pride Black Beans
15.5 ounces Dakota's Pride Great Northern Beans
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • Cut bacon into ¼ inch lengthwise pieces. In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes. Remove bacon and reserve.
  • Add ground beef to Dutch oven, cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove beef and reserve.
  • Reduce heat to medium, sauté onion until translucent, about 8 minutes. Add pineapple and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Return bacon and beef to Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Garnish with cilantro.
