This was my first time using puff pastry. This is a simple and very easy recipe. Hot out of the oven, tasty and filling! Also, another great way to use up leftover meat and veggies. Hope you enjoy! My photo

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 puff pastry sheet, thawed (cut in half)
1 c cooked ham, chopped
4 slice baby swiss cheese, diced
2 Tbsp mustard, spicy brown

Steps:

  • 1. Thaw pastry sheet. Once thawed cut in half.
  • 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Chop and dice ham and cheese; add mustard and stir to combine.
  • 3. Place 1/2 of the mixture on each piece of pastry. Fold and press edges to seal. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes before serving.
  • 4. NOTE: Even though I did not do this, I think broccoli and onion would be a very nice addition. I would have added this but didn't have on hand today. You would have to cut back some on the ham and cheese mixture or use 2 sheets of pastry, each cut in half, making 4 pieces.
