HAM AND CHEESE BALL
I've made this a couple of times as an appetizer at family dinners. Everyone liked it and I think it's better than the store-bought variety (and less expensive too).

Steps:
- In bowl beat cream cheese, sour cream and soup mix until smooth.
- Stir in ham and cheese.
- Form into a ball.
- Refrigerate.
- You may roll in chopped nuts before serving, if desired.
- Serve with crackers.

These cheese balls are so easy & yummy. They are great for showers,weddings,parties. My family loves these.They go with any kind of crackers. It's hard to stop eating them. I think this recipe has been around the world & back.

Steps:
- 1. Chop the ham, save enough to roll the cheese ball in, put the rest in a bowl, with the other ingredients.
- 2. Blend all ingredients together.CHILL , Then form into 2 balls.
- 3. Roll the balls in the rest of the ham. Wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate. When ready to serve put on a pretty platter and place crackers around it. Put a spreader knife beside of it.
- 4. Will keep in refrigerator, if there is any left over. Which that don't happen in my household! It is great because you can make it the day before you need.
HAM AND GREEN ONION CHEESE BALL
Normally served with Ritz or Toll-house crackers this is also good as a spread on bagels, or as a filling for pickle roll ups.

Steps:
- 1. Let cream cheese set out and soften for about 20 minutes in a large bowl.
- 2. On a cutting board chop finely the green onion bunches, throwing away the rooted ends. Then Chop finely the deli ham.
- 3. Combine the green onion and the ham to the soften cream cheese. Using your hands work together so that all is evenly combined. Refrigerate until right before you serve.
HAM AND CHEESE BALL WITH ROASTED PECANS
I put this together years ago and it is a fav at all parties. Easy and can be made 2 days ahead or can be frozen for later use. I like to make enough in Oct. freeze and use for Holiday parties in Nov. and Dec. Also makes great Christmas host gifts. Serve with any crackers. Also good with pepper jelly on the side.

- Put 1 cup pecans to the side for covering cheese ball.
- Put remaining ingredients in blender.
- blend well.
- Form into a ball
- Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Roll ball in cup of roasted pecans.
- Wrap in wax paper and chill till ready to use.
- Can freeze till ready to use or give as gift.
- Serve with crackers
- Also good with Jalapino pepper jelly on top or on the side.
