Steps:
- Brush one side of each bead slice with butter.
- Place on a work surface, buttered side down.
- Spread 4 bread slices equally with honey mustard.
- Top 4 slices equally with pears, arugula and cheese.
- Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered side up, and press together gently.
- Place sandwiches on preheated panini grill or in a large skillet over medium heat and cook, turning once if using a skillet, for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.

BONNIE'S GRILLED CHEESE AND PEAR SANDWICH
We were lucky to have bought a house with a wonderful pear tree in the backyard, it has since blessed us with delicious pears for the second year. So I am always looking for ways to use up the bounty. This great fall sandwich is going to be a favorite from now on, and it is so simple to make. Your family will love it! Enjoy!

Steps:
- 1. Choose fresh homemade French bread if you have it. I cut the large slices diagonally. Butter both sides of the bread.
- 2. Choose ripe, but firm pears, peeled and cored and sliced into 1/4 inch slices.
- 3. Put the slices of Swiss or sharp cheddar cheese on the buttered bread, followed by slices of pear. Put the buttered top on the bread and grill the sandwich over medium heat on both sides.
- 4. This is how it looks. This is a great sandwich for breakfast, or anytime, for both kids and adults. So Easy and So Good! Enjoy!
