I developed this recipe when I was cooking for large groups of people. It's easy to make and gives you plenty of time to do other things while it's baking.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup butter, cubed
10 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt, optional
2 cups 4% cottage cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, saute mushrooms and green pepper in butter until tender. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, flour, baking powder and salt if desired. Add mushroom mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients., Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°; bake 25-35 minutes longer or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

2-3/4 cups cubed fully cooked ham
1-3/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
5 teaspoons dried minced onion
6 eggs, lightly beaten
2-2/3 cups milk
1-1/3 cups biscuit/baking mix
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

Steps:

  • Place the ham, cheese and onion in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over ham mixture., Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 50-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Number Of Ingredients 10

- 10 ounces medium or fine egg noodles -- cooked and drained well
- 16 ounces cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium onion -- diced
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl combine noodles, cottage cheese and sour cream; set aside. In small skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  • Add onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes. Add onions to noodle mixture; mix well. In medium bowl beat egg whites, 30 seconds; beat in milk. Add to noodle mixture along with raisins; mix well.
