GOLD RUSH BROWNIES
With six kids to keep an eye on, my mother relied on quick-and-easy recipes like this. Now my own family, who doesn't usually care for nuts, can't resist these chewy brownies.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, combine crumbs, chocolate chips and pecans. Stir in milk until blended (batter will be stiff). Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. , Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square pan very well. Mix together graham cracker crumbs, chocolate, and nut meats. Blend in sweetened condensed milk. Pour into an 8 inch square pan that has been greased and bottom lined with waxed paper. Bake in a moderate oven (350) until top is golden brown, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Allow to remain in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out from pan; remove waxed paper. While still warm cut in squares or bars. Cool.
