GLAZED HONEY BARS
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. In a mixing bowl, beat the oil, honey, granulated sugar, and egg. Stir the cinnamon into the flour. Stir this into the sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in the nuts. Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand a few moments while you make the glaze: In a bowl, stir together the confectioners' sugar, mayonnaise, milk, and vanilla. Pour the glaze over the cake and spread it with a metal spatula. Let cool, then cut into bars.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13x9 dish with nonstick spray, set aside. In a standard mixer, beat oil, honey, sugar, and egg.
- 2. Stir the cinnamon into the self rising flour in separate bowl and mix this into sugar mixture and mix well. Stitr in nuts.
- 3. Spread batter into prepared dish and bake 30 minutes in oven or until center test done. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes and mix up the glaze.
- 4. In a bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, mayonnaise, milk, and vanilla. Pour the glaze over the cake and spread it evenly. Let it cool a little, then cut into bars.
