I cut this recipe out the the newspaper and I made it today hoping it would be worth eating. I was so pleasantly suprised! It is really, really good.

4 1/2 oz spaghetti
1/2 lb bacon, uncooked, cut into small pieces
1/2 lb beef tenderloin, trimmed, cut into bite-size pieces
1/4 tsp salt
freshly ground pepper
1/2 yellow onion, sliced
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 c baby bella or button mushrooms, quartered
1 c halved grape tomatoes
12 oz amber bock or pale ale beer (i used michelob amber bock)
4 Tbsp butter
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook spaghetti according to dirctions, drain and set aside.
  • 2. In saute pan, cook bacon until crisp. Lift out cooked bacon, drain on paper towels. Remove all but 2 TBS of bacon fat from the pan.
  • 3. Season beef tips with salt and pepper, then add to hot skillet and sear beef until all sides are golden. Add onion and lightly saute. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and lightly saute. Add cooked bacon and tomatoes.
  • 4. Deglaze pan with beer, let cook down by half. add butter, swirl in to make sauce.
  • 5. Stir in cooked spaghetti, warm through. Stir in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  • 6. Serve in 2 pasta bowls, garnished with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.

"DRUNKEN STYLE" SPAGHETTI WITH GERMAN SAUSAGE

3 German Sausage
1g of Fresh green pepper
A Bunch of Kailan Vegetable
2 Carrots
A Bunch Thai Basil
Dried Chili to taste
Thai fresh chili to taste
Cooking Oil

Steps:

  • 1.Set the fire on the pan to about medium heat (1min) 2.Put in Cooking Oil (1min) 3.Put in the Crushed Garlic and Fresh Chilli (2min) 4.Stir until the garlic starts to change colour (1 ½ min) 5.Put in the German Sausage, Fresh Pepper and the Vegetable (2min) 6.Put in 2tbs of Oyster sauce, 1tbs of soya sauce, 1tsp of sugar and a pinch of salt (1min) 7.Cook your spaghetti until it is soft 8.Take the Spaghetti out and drain the water out (1min) 9.Put the Spaghetti in the Boiling pan with all the other ingredients (1min) 10.Stir well (2min) 11.Taste the dish and add anything if necessary (1min) 12.Prepare the dish in a plate (1min) 13.Garnishing (5min) 14.Your done, Bon Appetite!

1/2 lb thin spaghetti
Oil or butter
1 large red onion, diced
4-6 stalk s of celery, diced
2 large can tomato sauce
1 can diced tomatoes
1 box cooked bacon
Pepper

Steps:

  • Cook noodles per package directions in a large pot.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter or heat oil and saute the red onion about 5-10 minutes. Set aside, and then saute the celery for 10-15 minutes.
  • Drain noodles, return to large pot, add sauteed red onion and celery. Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Break bacon into 1 inch pieces and put into pot. Add pepper to taste.
  • Stir well and simmer for about 20-25 minutes. Let stand for about 10 minutes serve with warm bread.

MY MOM'S GERMAN SPAGHETTI



My Mom's German Spaghetti image

I really have no idea where my Mom got this recipe, I am just thankful she found it. My youngest daughter asks for this for her birthday(or anytime she is home)every year! It makes a ton of spaghetti and is even better the second and third day.

4 - medium onions, chopped
1-1/2 pound(s) ground beef
1/2 cup(s) olive oil
1 - large bell pepper, chopped
2 - large cans sliced mushrooms
2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
2 can(s) 1 lb size, tomatoes
1 pound(s) cooked spaghetti
1 pound(s) grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Saute onions and bell pepper in oil. Add beef and cook until browned; drain. Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add the spaghetti and cheese. Improves flavor by holding in warm oven.
  • This is even better the next day!
