A childhood favorite of mine. We eat it every Sunday morning. Golden pan style egg dish, with lots of big bubbles while baking. Serve with maple syrup.

BIG GERMANS
An oven pancake that puffs up and falls. It is served with a squeeze of lemon juice and powdered sugar. We also enjoy filling the indent with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Serves 2 to 4.

GERMAN APPLE PANCAKE
If you're looking for a pretty dish to make when having guests for brunch, try this. Everyone I've served it to has enjoyed it-except for one time, that is, when my husband tried to make it following my recipe, which I'd written down incorrectly! If you don't leave out the flour as I did, it'll turn out terrific! -Judi Van Beek, Lynden, Washington

DUTCH BABIES II
I love to eat these! They are warm and light, yet very filling. Great on cold mornings. This recipe is from my great grandmother. Serve with warm maple syrup and wedges of lemon.
