PARTY PUNCH (KID- FRIENDLY)

Party Punch (Kid- Friendly) image

This is a light, refreshing punch that is good for a party or shower...I made it for a family Christmas party and used lime sherbet, but I think any variety of sherbet would work well. At a family party of 25 people that had choices of soda-pop, beer, coffee, wine or punch--2/3 chose this punch, and several people asked for the recipe, including my 26 year old male cousin.

CRANACHAN

Cranachan image

A Scottish desert traditionally made with cream, oats and whiskey. My recipe is alcohol free, but alternatively you can substitute the vanilla for 2 tablespoons of whiskey. This recipe makes quite a large portion, but a great way to make it serve more people is to layer with vanilla ice cream in the glass.
