GARLIC CHIVE RED POTATOES
I made these tonight from a recipe found here on Zaar, but after changing enough of it, thought I would post how I made them. I am sure that you could use any other small potatoes, I just had red potatoes on hand!

Steps:
- Wash the potatoes well and slice them halfway. If they are large enough, slice them in half again. Lay all the slices in a large baking pan.
- Sprinkle the potatoes well with the seasonings.
- Melt the butter. Crush the garlic cloves into the melted butter and stir them well in the butter. Let them sit for about 30 seconds or so.
- Drizzle the garlic butter over the potatoes well and incorporate them all.
- Bake in the uncovered dish for about 40 minutes or so, until they are tender and golden brown.

GRILLED RED POTATOES

Steps:
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- In a microwave-safe casserole dish, add the potatoes in a single layer. Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave until tender, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, salt, smoked paprika and black pepper.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes and toss to coat well. Add the spice mixture, rosemary and thyme and toss gently to coat.
- Add the potatoes to the grill cut-side down and cook until grill marks form, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook for 3 more minutes. Garnish with the parsley.

Steps:
- Place sliced potatoes in pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook just until fork tender, 3 - 4 minutes. Drain.
- In a bowl combine mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Preheat grill.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of chive sauce. Dip boiled potatoes into remaining chive sauce, coat completely. Repeat until all potatoes are coated.
- Place potatoes on the grill and cook until browned and tender.
- Transfer to a plate. Sprinkle with kosher salt. Place a dollop of remaining chive sauce on each of the potatoes. Garnish with chopped chives.
- Serve.

- Cook potatoes in large pot of boiling salted water until tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Drain. Cut potatoes in half; place cut side up on rimmed baking sheet. Press each gently with fork to flatten slightly.
- Stir butter, chives, and lemon peel in medium saucepan over medium heat until butter melts; season with salt and pepper. Brush some chive butter over potatoes.
- Coat grill rack with nonstick spray. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat).
- Grill potatoes, cut side down, until cut side is crisp and brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
- Rewarm remaining chive butter. Transfer potatoes, cut side up, to platter. Drizzle with warm chive butter.
