The gin fizz is a classic soda highball that includes gin with sweet and sour flavors, topped with soda. Get the recipe and try its many variations.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce​ lemon juice (fresh; or lime juice)
3/4 ounce simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
Optional: 1​ egg white
2 ounces soda water (or enough to fill)
Garnish:​ lemon peel

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Pour the gin, lemon or lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously , about 15 seconds if using the egg white, to ensure it is mixed thoroughly with the other ingredients. For an extra-frothy drink, discard the ice and dry shake for a few more seconds.
  • Strain into a chilled highball glass over fresh ice cubes.
  • Top with soda and garnish with a lemon or lime peel. Serve and enjoy.

2 ounces x-rated fusion liqueur
3 ounces club soda (or Fresca or 7-Up soda depending on your taste)
lots ice

Steps:

  • Place ice in a tall glass.
  • Add Fusion to ice then pour fizzing beverage on top.
  • Garnish with a lemon, lime or orange slice and a few frozen raspberries or cranberries.
  • Enjoy! ;).
