LIME BERRY SODA

1 cup blackberries
1 cup raspberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 ounces lime flavored sparkling water
Lime wedge and fresh mint sprig, for garnish

Steps:

  • For the simple syrup: Add the berries, sugar and 1/2 cup water to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the berries have released their juices and the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the liquid into a jar. Cool to room temperature before using.
  • For the lime berry soda: Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice. Top with 1 ounce berry syrup and the sparkling water (save the remaining berry syrup for another use). Stir to combine. Garnish with the lime wedge and mint sprig.

1 apple, cubed
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup pitted and sliced cherries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup blackberries
¾ cup brandy
2 cups lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • Mix wine, apple, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and brandy together in a pitcher; refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir lemon-lime soda into wine mixture.

1/3 cup powdered sugar (Splenda can be used)
3 cups club soda
crushed ice
mint leaf, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix lime juice and sugar together till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the club soda and stir lightly just to mix.
  • Place crushed ice in 4 glasses and pour the soda over it.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and serve at once.
