FLAVORFUL GREEN BEANS
Green beans are a quick-cooking vegetable to begin with but using the microwave moves things along even faster. I rely on canned green beans when time is really tight and I sometimes add extra bacon to give the dish even more flavor.-Ernestine Beoughter, Lawrenceville, Illinois

GREEN BEANS LIGHT AND FLAVORFUL
Even though these are canned green beans, they don't taste like it. No one ever suspects these are canned. I always get rave reviews. If you like crispier green beans, you could use fresh or frozen and adjust the cooking time. I hope you like them.

Steps:
- 1. Open cans of beans. Pour off the liquid, it tends to have a canned flavor. Rinse green beans in can twice to get all that flavor off. Pour off water. Pour green beans in a medium size saucepan. Cover with two cans of water.
- 2. Add the chicken bouillon cube and dry minced onions. Cover and bring to a boil on high. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 to 45 minutes. That's it. Enjoy!
