4 (16 ounce) cans pork & beans
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 small onion, chopped finely
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 lb bacon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Mix all ingredients except bacon.
  • pour into 13x9 glass baking dish.
  • Top with bacon strips.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes.
  • Let beans stand 15 minutes to thicken before serving.
  • (Don't forget the cottage cheese!).

6 (10 ounce) cans baked beans
1 1/2 lbs dark brown sugar
18 ounces favorite barbecue sauce
1 small onion (minced finely)
6 ounces bacon bits

Steps:

  • In large Crockpot combine baked beans, brown sugar, barbeque sauce, and onion.
  • Set crockpot on high for 1 hour. At end of first hour dip off excess liquid before stiring.
  • Set Crockpot to med and continue cooking for 5 more hours (at end of each hour dip off excess liquid before stirring).
  • Add bacon bits before last hour of cooking.
