FAMILY FAVORITE BEEF GOULASH (NO TOMATO)

Family Favorite Beef Goulash (No Tomato) image

This is what my French Canadian Mom used to call Goulash, no tomato, just lots of beef and veggies in a gravy base. My Mom always served it with elbow macaroni, but I like to use egg noodles. Its a simple recipe, but everyone I've ever made this for just loves it! Note: you can also make this with ground turkey or ground chicken instead,

FAMILY GOULASH

Family Goulash image

Goulash made simple but tastes Amazing. My family loves this goulash so I promised it would go in the recipe book for my daughters and my son. They all want the daily recipes so they can cook when they leave home. This recipes secret comes from Great Grandma Young. When I was 17 yrs old and just learning my way around the kitchen. I made goulash and it was good. I drained the fat off the meat. And then assembled the remaining ingredients. Great Grandma said "Want to know a secret..Don't drain the fat off it makes for a better goulash" She was right. It tastes so much better.
