EASY BANANAS FOSTER
Bananas Foster is a deliciously rich and easy recipe laced with dark rum and brown sugar for a warm sweet dessert you'll want to make again and again!

Steps:
- In a large skillet, heat the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Stirring frequently.
- While the butter mixture is cooking, slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick diagonal slices.
- Once the butter mixture starts to bubble, add the bananas in a single layer and cook for 1 minute. Turn the bananas over and cook for 1 more minute.
- Very carefully pour in the vanilla extract and the rum and then using a long match or grill lighter held just over the liquid, ignite the rum to flambé. Cook until the flame goes out, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Add ice cream to 6 bowls and evenly top with the bananas and rum sauce. Serve immediately.

- Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
- Arrange banana on an oven safe dish or foil.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and honey.

Steps:
- Melt butter with brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a 10 inch skillet over low heat until sugar dissolves.
- Add banana slices and continue cooking over low heat for about 1 minute per side while carefully spooning sauce over bananas as they are cooking.
- Stir in the rum extract and then remove from heat.
- Serve alone or with your favorite vanilla ice cream.
BANANAS FOSTER

- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until the sugar completely dissolves, about 2 minutes. Lay the bananas in the pan and cook on both sides until they become slightly soft and begin to brown, about 3 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add the banana liqueur and then the rum and cinnamon. Tip the pan slightly and carefully ignite the alcohol with a long kitchen match or kitchen lighter to flambe. Put the pan back on the heat and shake it back and forth basting the bananas, until the flame dies out.
- Divide the ice cream among dessert bowls. Gently lift the bananas from the pan and place 2 pieces on the ice cream. Spoon the sauce over the ice cream and serve immediately.

- In a 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until it begins to bubble. Add the bananas in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, or until beginning to brown. Flip the bananas with a rubber spatula and brown them slightly on the reverse side. Sprinkle with the cinnamon and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring occasionally. Gently mix in the dulce de leche; simmer for 1 minute, then set aside to cool a bit. Serve over ice cream, with mini chocolate chips sprinkled over the top.

- Peel the bananas and slice them about 1 inch thick on a long bias. Heat the sugar, butter and cinnamon together in a medium skillet over medium heat until bubbling. Add the bananas and stir gently to coat. Add the rum and carefully ignite the alcohol with a stick lighter. Step back and let the alcohol burn off. Continue to cook, stirring gently, until the sauce has thickened a little bit and the bananas are slightly softened, 1 to 2 minutes. Divide the bananas and sauce between 2 small bowls. Top with ice cream and serve immediately.

- Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed 12-inch skillet over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, cinnamon stick, and lemon zest; stir to dissolve the sugar, about 1 minute.
- (If the heat is too high, the butter and sugar will separate instead of combining to form a sauce).
- Add the bananas and spoon some sauce over each piece.
