2 slices white bread
2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
1 banana, mashed (ripe)
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread.
  • Mash banana and spread it on the other slice of bread.
  • Put the slices together to form the sandwich.
  • Melt butter (not the peanut butter) in a frying pan.
  • Fry the sandwich in the pan on both sides until it's golden brown.

2 tablespoons peanut butter (preferably smooth)
2 slices white sandwich bread
1 small ripe banana, mashed with a fork (about 1/4 cup)
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Spread peanut butter evenly on 1 slice of bread, then spread mashed banana on other slice, leaving a 1/4-inch border around edge. Close sandwich, gently pressing bread slices together.
  • Heat butter in an 8- to 10-inch heavy skillet over moderate heat until foam subsides, then fry sandwich, turning over once, until golden brown, about 2 minutes total.
  • Eat immediately with a knife and fork.

2 tablespoons butter, softened
8 slices white bread
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 large, ripe banana, sliced
1/4 cup honey
12 slices bacon, Sauteed until crispy (optional)

Steps:

  • Spread the butter on 1 side of each slice of bread. On the other side of half of the slices spread peanut butter. Place banana slices on top of peanut butter. Drizzle honey over bananas. Place 3 bacon slices on top of the banana, then place the remaining buttered bread slices on top, butter-side-out.
  • Place sandwiches on a preheated grill pan or griddle. Flip them over when they become golden brown and crispy. When the sandwiches are browned on both sides, remove to plates. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl, mash the banana with the back of a spoon or slice the banana. Toast the bread lightly. Spread the peanut butter on one piece of toast and the banana on the other. Fry the sandwich in melted butter until each side is golden brown. Cut diagonally and serve hot.

2 tablespoons butter
1 small ripe banana
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Place 2 pieces of white bread in the toaster on a light setting. Heat skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons butter. While the bread is toasting, in a small bowl, using a fork mash the ripe banana until it reaches a smooth consistency. Using a knife, take both pieces of the toasted bread and spread 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, topping 1 side with the mashed banana. Place 1 slice of bread on top of the other forming a sandwich. Place sandwich in hot skillet browning each side, flipping with a spatula, about 2 minutes per side. Take out of skillet, slice on a diagonal and serve on a plate.
