2 pork loin chops (1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3/4 cup 2% milk
3/4 cup uncooked instant rice
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Dash pepper

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, brown pork chops in oil on both sides over medium heat; set aside. In an ungreased 8-in. square baking dish, combine the soup, milk, rice and seasonings. Top with pork chops. , Cover and bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes. Uncover; bake 5 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 145°. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

4 double-cut, bone-in pork chops
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups soy sauce
1 tablespoon molasses
1 3/4 cup ketchup
1/1/2 cups chili sauce, such as Heinz
2 tablespoons French dressing
1 teaspoon dry mustanrd

Steps:

  • Put pork chops into a baking dish and season with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup brown sugar, soysauce, molasses and 1 cup water and pour over meat. Cover with plastic wrap and let pork chops marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Heat oven to 375. Drain pork chops and transfer to a 9 X 13 baking dish. Whisk together remaining brown sugar, ketchup, chili sauce, French dressing, mustard and 1/3 cup water in a small bowl. Pour sauce over pork chops and bake, turning pork chops and basting wtih sauce occasionally, until pork chops are tender and sauce has thickened, about 45 minutes. Let pork chops rest for 10 minutes before serving. If you want thicker sauce, remove chops, keep warm and boil or add arrowroot to thicken more.

Kosher salt and black pepper
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups soy sauce
1 tablespoon molasses
1 and 3/4 cup ketchup
1 and 1/2 cup Heinz chili sauce
2 tablespoons French dressing
1 tablespoon dry mustard

Steps:

  • Step 1: Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Whisk together 1/2 cup brown sugar, soy sauce, molasses and 1 cup of water. Pour mixture over meat. Cover with plastic wrap or put on gallon size baggie and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Step #2: Heat oven to 375. Drain pork chops and transfer to 9" by 13" baking dish. Whist together remaining brown sugar, ketchup, chili sauce, French dressing, mustard and 1/3 cup of water in a bowl. Pour sauce over pork chops and bake, turning pork chops and basting occasionally until pork chops are tender and sauce has thickened, about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let pork chops rest 10 minutes before serving.

A friend gave me this recipe. I serve it with twice-baked potatoes and a salad made with mixed greens.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 firm red apples, peeled,cored,cut into 1/3 inch thick wedges
1/4 cup orange liqueur
1 1/4 cups canned chicken broth
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons orange flavored honey
1 teaspoon orange zest
4 center-cut pork chops, 1 inch thick
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Melt butter with oil in skillet on medium high heat.
  • Add apples and saute until golden, about 10 minutes.
  • Add liqueur and bring to a boil.
  • Add broth, 2 tablespoons parsley, honey and orange peel.
  • Simmer until liquid is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove sauce from heat.
  • Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
  • Position rack 6 inches from heat source and preheat broiler.
  • Sprinkle pork with salt& pepper, to taste.
  • Arrange pork chops on baking sheet or broiler pan.
  • Broil until pork is no longer pink on inside, about 7 minutes per side.
  • Transfer pork to plates.
  • Spoon hot sauce over pork.
  • Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons parsley over top.
