1 tablespoon garlic powder
seasoning salt
pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil

Steps:

  • In a baking dish arrange chicken pieces.
  • sprinkle both sides of chicken with seasonings.
  • top with peppers and onion
  • drizzle with oil.
  • bake uncovered for one hour at 325 degrees after one hour turn temperature to 400 and bake 15-30 minutes longer.

1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 to 4 pounds), cut up
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup dry sherry
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 shallots, chopped

Steps:

  • Place the chicken in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, tarragon, paprika and pepper. Combine the sherry, lemon juice and soy sauce; drizzle over chicken. Top with shallots., Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 375°. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, basting occasionally. Uncover; bake 15-20 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 180°.

4 bone-in chicken breast halves, with skin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
¾ cup Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Rub each chicken breast with olive oil, then place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Pour Worcestershire sauce over each breast. Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Check chicken and remove cover if desired. Bake for another 15 minutes.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon coarse sea salt
1 pinch Creole seasoning (such as Tony Chachere's®), or to taste
1 tablespoon water, or as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat convection oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Rub chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle both sides with salt and Creole seasoning. Place chicken in a broiler pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip chicken and cook until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 15 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Remove chicken from pan. Pour water into the pan, while scraping the browned bits of food off of the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Add more water if needed to dislodge the browned bits; serve alongside chicken.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup French dressing
1 ½ cups cornflakes cereal crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Place the dressing in a shallow dish or bowl for dipping. Do the same with the cornflakes crumbs or breadcrumbs (see Cook's Note). Dip the chicken breasts, one at a time, in the dressing, then in the breadcrumbs to coat.
  • Place chicken breasts in prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
