4 lg baking potatoes
1 env Shake 'N Bake Coating Mix

Steps:

  • Clean and quarter 4 lg. baking potatoes. Spray baking sheet with spray cooking oil and place potatoes skin side down, spray tops of potatoes. Then sprinkle with your favorite flavor of Shake 'N Bake Coating Mix.
  • Place in oven for 45 min at 375°F, or until done.
  • Remove from oven and top with your favorite toppings (sour cream, cheese, scallions, etc.) For faster preparation, potatoes can be pre-baked in the microwave.

These potatoes taste amazing loaded with cheese, sour cream, and/or chives! 4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
salt and ground black pepper to taste
6 medium potatoes, scrubbed

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until melted, 20 to 30 seconds. Stir in olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Use a fork to poke about 5 holes into each potato. Place each potato on a sheet of aluminum foil about 6 inches wide. Brush butter mixture over potatoes, making sure to evenly coat each one. Wrap up completely in foil. Poke 5 more holes into the wrapped potatoes.
  • Bake potatoes in the center of the preheated oven until easily pierced with a fork, about 1 hour. Spread leftover butter mixture over potatoes after cutting them open.

garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt, i use kosher salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1-1/2 tsp paprika
1-1/2 tsp onion powder
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 c canola oil
4 medium red-skinned potatoes, cut into 1/4"-slices

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg baking sheet w/ cooking spray.
  • 2. In lg plastic, resealable bag, combine salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. Place oil in shallow bowl.
  • 3. Dip each potato slice into oil, then place potato slices into bag, seal bag. Shake to coat potatoes fully. Place potato slices on baking sheet and bake for 40 min, or until golden.
