Made with some soy sauce, garlic, ginger and of course applesauce! I found this recipe, hand-written, in my recipe collection. I have no idea where I got the recipe. Hope you like it.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups applesauce
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
6 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger; mix well and pour into a greased 13" X 9" X 2" baking dish.
  • In a skillet, brown the pork chops in the butter.
  • When browned on both sides, place over the applesauce mixture.
  • Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.

2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp ground ginger
4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (whichever you prefer)
2 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, combine applesauce, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar & ginger; mix well and pour into a greased 13" x 9" baking dish.
  • 2. In a skillet, brown pork chops in butter.
  • 3. When browned on both sides, place pork chops in baking dish over the applesauce mixture.
  • 4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.

2 tablespoons butter
1/2 medium onion, sliced
6 boneless pork chops

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Mix well. Pour the mixture into a greased 13" X 9" X 2" baking dish. In a skillet, melt the butter. Sauté the onions for about a minute and then brown the pork chops in the butter. When browned on both sides, place over the applesauce mixture. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
