Honey, butter, and brown sugar make these baby carrots irresistible! It may not be the most nutritious recipe, but the carrots turn out so yummy, you won't care!

1 (16 ounce) package baby carrots
½ cup butter
3 tablespoons honey
½ cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Place the carrots into a large pot and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil over high heat until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and allow to steam dry for a minute or two.
  • Return the pot to the stove; reduce the heat to medium-low. Melt the butter in the pot. Stir in the honey and brown sugar; add the carrots and stir until evenly coated; cook another 5 minutes

Make ordinary canned or fresh carrots special by preparing this spiffy little side dish for anytime of the year; winter holidays, Easter, or lazy Sunday dinners.

1 (16 ounce) bag baby carrots, whole
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter, use the real thing
1 dash salt, to taste

Steps:

  • Use either a bag of whole baby carrots from the produce section or 2 15 ounce cans of sliced carrots.
  • Add carrots to a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat.
  • Quickly add the butter and brown sugar and toss the carrots in the melting butter.
  • Just when they begin to bubble, reduce to low heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Remember, sugar can scorch quickly, so stir occasionally and keep the heat low.
