This ultra-simple hors d'oeuvre recipe is a big hit at any party! Sweet, Savoury, and Bacony all in one - who could ask for anything more?! Can make day before, store in fridge, and reheat in oven when ready.

Steps:
- Slice each olive length wise.
- Stuff one date into each olive.
- Wrap each pairing with 1/2 slice Bacon and hold in place with toothpick.
- Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (saves on clean-up!) in 350 degree oven until bacon is cooked to your liking.
- Serve and bask in the praise!

BACON-WRAPPED OLIVES
I saw this recipe on Ricardo & Friends. Looks so yummy and easy to do. I guess that you can try with other olives. I will try with hot pepper stuffed olives. Note : Taste the olives the day before making the recipe. If they are too salty, soak them in cold water for up to 24 hours.

- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a cutting board, cut each bacon slice crosswise into 3 equal pieces. Roll an olive in each bacon piece, securing with a toothpick. Place on the baking sheet. Bake until the bacon is nicely browned and crisp 30 to 35 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve in a large bowl.
- NOTE : Taste the olives the day before making the recipe. If they are too salty, soak them in cold water for up to 24 hours.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut a slit in each date. Place almonds inside slits. Press together the dates to close slits. Wrap each date with a piece of bacon.
- Line a shallow baking pan with Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil. Add a roasting rack; place the dates on rack. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Serve immediately with toothpicks. Dates will be hot inside.
