If you have teenagers in the house, divide this up into gift tins, freeze it and hide it. They will get up in the middle of the night to sneak a piece. This is a true "fix it and forget it" recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 16 oz jar unsalted peanuts, or almonds or pecans
1 16 oz jar salted peanuts, or almonds or pecans
1 12 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 12 oz bag milkchocolate chips
2 10 oz bag(s) peanut butter chips - or 1 c peanut butter
2 1 lb pkg white almond bark or vanilla candy coating1 lb pkg white almond bark or vanilla candy coating

Steps:

  • 1. Layer all ingredients in a large crockpot (starting with peanuts).
  • 2. Turn the pot on low, cover with lid, and leave sitting for 2 hours.
  • 3. Remove lid and stir to combine. Replace lid and leave sitting for another 30 minutes.
  • 4. Stir again and then spoon mixture on to wax paper or non-stick aluminum foil. Allow to harden for at least 1 hour.
  • 5. Put into gift containers and freeze if needed. Enjoy!

This is a spin on the peanut clusters in a crockpot. For the cashew lover in you.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb unsalted peanuts
1 lb salted cashew pieces
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1 bar (8oz) german sweet chocolate, chopped
2 oz milk chocolate, chopped
2 lb vanilla or white almond bark, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Place nuts in bottom of 3-quart crock pot and stir to mix. Add all of the chocolate. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until chocolate is melted, stirring once during cooking time. Stir well, then drop spoonsful of the mixture onto wax paper- or parchment paper-lined cookie sheets. Refrigerate until set.

2 lbs white chocolate almond bark
1 lb dark chocolate almond bark
1 (4 ounce) bar German chocolate
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (32 ounce) container dry roasted peanuts
1 (16 ounce) container whole roasted almonds
1 teaspoon almond flavoring

Steps:

  • Turn crock pot on high and ad the first six ingredients. Cook for 45 minutes (do not peek or stir!). Reduce heat and cook for one hour or until all chocolate is melted, stirring every 15 minute Add almond flavoring and stir.
  • Put by spoonfuls into mini muffin liners. Store in an airtight container.
