2 pound boneless ham (about)
1-2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
8 oz crushed pineapple

Steps:

  • Prep a small crock pot with a good coat of PAM.
  • Place 8 oz can of crushed pineapple in the bottom the crock pot.
  • Brush the ham with a generous amount of honey, about 1-2 tablespoons.
  • Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves, cinnamon, and dry mustard.
  • Pack the brown sugar mixture on the ham.
  • Move the ham cut side down to the crock pot on top of the pineapple. Pile any remaining brown sugar on top of the ham.
  • Cook for approximately 3 hours on low. At about 1 1/2 to 2 hours into cooking, spoon some of the pineapple solution on top of the ham and check the temperature. Cook to an internal temp of 140°-150°. Your time may vary some due to the difference in crock pots and the size/thickness of the ham.
  • Remove from crock pot and allow to sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with some of the pineapple solution.

cooking spray
1 (8 pound) spiral-cut ham, or more to taste
½ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
⅓ cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

  • Spray the slow cooker insert with cooking spray and place ham inside.
  • Combine honey, brown sugar, mustard, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, whisking thoroughly, until sugar is melted and ingredients are combined, 2 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Pour water into the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour sauce over the ham. Cover.
  • Cook in the slow cooker on Low, 6 to 8 hours. Baste the ham with the juices from the bottom once every hour.
  • Remove ham from the slow cooker. Pour juices from the bottom into a saucepan over medium heat. Mix cornstarch and water together in a bowl and pour into the saucepan. Cook until mixture thickens into a glaze, 6 to 8 minutes. Pour glaze over the ham or use as a gravy.

Steps:

5 lbs bone in fully cooked smoked ham
1/3 cup apple juice
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • Place ham in 4 to 6 quart slow cooker. Add apple juice. Mix brown sugar, honey and mustard; spread over ham.
  • Cover and cook on Low 6 to 8 hours or until ham is hot and glazed.
  • Remove ham from slow cooker; place on cutting board. Cut ham in half; reserve one half. Cut remaining half into slices; place on serving platter to serve.
  • Note: Cut reserved ham into 1/2 inch cubes. Place 1 1/2 cups cubes in a resealable plastic fod storage bags. Seal and label bags with date of preparation. Refrigerate both bags up to 3 days or freeze up to 1 month for later use. If frozen, thaw in refrigerator befoore using.
