CRESCENT CHICKEN BUNDLES

Crescent Chicken Bundles are stuffed with a cream cheese and chicken mixture and baked until golden and flaky. They are pure heaven. Buttery, creamy heaven.

Number Of Ingredients 11

6 ounces cream cheese, (softened)
4 tablespoons melted butter, (divided)
2 tablespoons whole milk or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper
2 green onions, (sliced)
4 cups chopped cooked chicken
2 (8-ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup crushed seasoned stuffing, (Stovetop or Pepperidge Farm is what I use)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, use a hand-held mixer or a wooden spoon to mix the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons melted butter, milk, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes together.
  • Stir in the chicken and green onions.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 rectangles. Try to stretch them a little into more of a square shape. Press on the preforations to seal them.
  • Divide the chicken mixture evenly between the 8 pieces of dough, placing it in the center of each piece.
  • Bring the edges of the dough up to the center to form a bundle and press to seal the edges.
  • Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the tops with the stuffing mix and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

2 cups cubed cooked chicken
3/4 cup mayonnaise

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. On an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan, arrange triangles in a ring with points toward the outside and wide ends overlapping. 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 tablespoon diced pimientos
1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper until smooth. Stir in chicken, milk, onion and pimientos. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into four rectangles; place on an ungreased baking sheet an press perforations together. , Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture into the center of each rectangle. 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2/3 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk

Steps:

  • Separate crescent dough into eight triangles. Combine the chicken and 2 tablespoons cheese; place about 2 tablespoonfuls on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown., Meanwhile, in a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine soup, milk and remaining cheese. 2 can(s) ( 8 oz) crescent rolls
3 c cheddar cheese, divided
1 can(s) (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can(s) ( 10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 c green onions, sliced, reserve 1/2 cup for the sauce
3 oz cooked ham, chopped small
3 - 4 small boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and chopped small
1 1/2 c milk
1 ( 8 oz) cream cheese, softened
salt and pepper to taste
1 box chicken stove top stuffing, ( optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Gather ingredients: Preheat oven to 350 degree Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan, set aside
  • 2. Cook chicken in water, drain, chop medium pieces. Chop ham into medium pieces. In a medium bowl; add chicken, ham, cream cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup green onions till well blended. set aside, and make sauce
  • 3. Sauce: Sauce: In medium saucepan; mix soups, 2 cups cheese, 1/2 cup green onions, salt, pepper, and 2 cups milk until cheese melts. Set aside.
  • 4. Assemble the bundles: Unroll the cans of crescent rolls. I cut each roll into 4 equal portions with a sharp knife. With your fingers; spread each portion into individual squares, large enough to hold 2 tablespoons of filling. You should have 8.
  • 5. Now, fill each square with 2 heaping tablespoon fulls of chicken mixture; bring each of the 4 corners to meet and the top and squeeze closed.
  • 6. Ladle some of the sauce into the bottom of a 13 x 9 baking dish; place the bundles in the dish.
  • 7. I made a box of stove top stuffing, made balls, and placed them where I had room. ( optional)..ladel the sauce over the bundles. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, bake 45 minutes or until golden brown, or cooked through. You will probably have leftover sauce, we use it as a gravy for my sour cream, chive, mashed potatoes..is so good.
  • 8. Enjoy!!
