1 1/2 cups orange marmalade
2/3 cup orange juice
1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
12 ounces fresh cranberries
fresh grated nutmeg, to taste- (optional)

Steps:

  • mix marmalade, juice and cinnamon stick in a saucepan, bring to boil.
  • add cranberries, return to boil.
  • lower to simmer and cook until cranberries pop and thicken, about 8-10 minutes.
  • add grated nutmeg, if desired, remove from heat, cool.

2 12 ounce bags of fresh cranberries
1 18 ounce jar of orange marmalade ((about 1.5 cups))
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 cup water
1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon

Steps:

  • Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and heat on high while stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
  • After the cranberries start to pop, reduce the heat to medium and reduce, uncovered for another 15 minutes.
  • Let cool and either freeze or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • (I serve mine at room temp)

1 1/4 cups sugar
4 wide strips orange zest, plus 1 cup fresh juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest and juice, cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and mixture thickens slightly, 12 to 15 minutes. (Sauce will thicken more as it cools.)   • In 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in cranberries; heat to boiling. Simmer uncovered 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries pop.
  • Stir in marmalade. Serve sauce warm or chilled.
