COUNTRY APPLE BISCUITS
I have had this recipe for awhile but not sure where I got it. I tried it for the first time this morning for breakfast so I am sharing a picture. They were easy and tasted delicious. My husband loved them.

Steps:
- 1. Generously grease bottom and sides of a 9 inch round cake pan with butter. Spread 1 cup chopped, peeled apples in bottom. Seperate 1 can flaky biscuits into 10 biscuits, cutting each into 4 pieces. Arrange over apples, pointed sides up. Top with another 1/2 cup apples. In a small bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, cinnamon, light corn syrup, and egg. Beat until sugar dissolves. Stir in 1/2 cup pecan pieces. Spoon over biscuits and apples. Bake in a 350* oven for 35-45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before topping with glaze.
- 2. For glaze: Mix ingredients and drizzle over warm biscuits.

Arrange over apples, point-sides-up. Top with another 1/2 cup apples. In small bowl, combine oleo, brown sugar, cinnamon, light corn syrup, and egg. Beat until sugar is partially dissolved. Stir in 1/2 cup pecan halves and pieces. Spoon over biscuit pieces. Bake in 350° oven for 35-45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Mix Glaze ingredients and drizzle over biscuits while warm. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
