- Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick baking mat; set aside.
- Place cornflakes in a medium bowl. Using your hands, crush to one-quarter of their original size. Add milk powder, sugar, and salt; toss to combine. Add butter and toss to form small clusters.
- Spread cornflake mixture in an even layer on prepared baking sheet. Transfer to oven and bake until clusters are toasted and smell buttery, about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

- In a 3-quart saucepan, combine the peanut butter, corn syrup and sugar.
- Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture just comes to a boil (10-12 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, cereal and nuts; toss to coat well (mixture will be stiff).
- Press into a buttered 13x9-inch pan.
- Cool completely, then cut into bars.

- Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with foil; coat foil with cooking spray. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornflakes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. In another shallow bowl, lightly beat egg. Dip chicken in egg, then in cornflake mixture. Place chicken in prepared pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 18-22 minutes or until juices run clear. Serve with marinara sauce.

- Cook syrup and sugar until mixture comes to a boil. Stir constantly; do not overcook.
- Remove from heat, add peanut butter, and stir until smooth. Pour mixture over cornflakes in a large bowl. Mix until cereal is thoroughly coated.
- Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and press down lightly with buttered hands. When cool, cut into squares.

- Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 325°F.
- Toast almonds in a large shallow baking pan until pale golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool, then toss with cornflakes in a large bowl.
- Line bottom of cooled baking pan with foil, then lightly oil foil.
- Whisk together egg white, 3 tablespoons sugar, and salt in a small bowl, then add to cornflake mixture and toss gently to coat well. Arrange mixture in pan in a thin, even layer and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake until nuts and coating are golden, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool completely in pan on a rack. Peel off foil and break into pieces.
CHOCOLATE CORNFLAKE CRUNCH SLICE |
Chocolate cornflake crunch slice. A very chocolatey slice with a great crunch.

Steps:
- Mix all dry ingredients together. Melt butter and stir into dry ingredients. Press mixture into greased and lined slice tin. Bake in a moderate (180 degree C) oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- To make the icing, mix the cocoa and icing sugar together with the hot water. Add a little extra icing sugar or water if required to make a pourable consistency.
- Spread the icing over the slice and cut while still warm. Allow to cool before removing from tin.
