NO-BAKE PEANUT BUTTER CORN FLAKE BARS RECIPE
Steps:
- Heat sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until it starts to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add in the peanut butter. Stir until it has melted. Stir in crushed corn flakes.
- Press mixture into a greased 8"x 11" pan.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30-second increments until melted. Stir chocolate until smooth and spread on top of the peanut butter mixture.
- Let cool until firm.

For some reason, men always seem to go gah-gah over these. :) They are very easy to make, and it is a great way to use up the end of the corn flakes. I also like this recipe because it uses fewer ingredients than all the other ones I have seen.

- Pat into a 8x8 lightly greased pan. (I line my pan with foil and then lightly spray it. When it is time to cut them, the foil lifts right out.).
- Melt chocolate chips over low heat or in the microwave and spread over top. Cool until firm.

- 1. Butter a square pan, 9x9x2inches. Heat corn syrup and sugar just to a boiling point in a 3 qt. pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, gently stir in cereal, and peanut butter until smooth and evenly coated.
- 2. Press firmly into the 9x9 pan. Let set for about 1 hour or till set. Cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Or hide them....they seem to vanish !!!....LOL
