This is my favorite pancake recipe that I make for my family and friends. They are soft, fluffy, and very easy to make. The chocolate chips can be substituted with frozen blueberries that have been thawed. I sometimes double this recipe because they go quickly!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
½ cup miniature chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Beat egg into milk in a separate bowl until thoroughly combined. Pour melted butter into flour mixture; whisk in milk mixture to make a smooth batter. Fold chocolate chips into batter.
  • Heat a small nonstick skillet over low heat; pour about 1/3 cup of batter into hot skillet and cover with a lid. Cook pancake until browned on the bottom, about 3 minutes; flip pancake and cook covered until other side is browned. Repeat with remaining batter.

2 cup(s) flour
1/4 cup(s) sugar
2 tablespoon(s) baking powder
1 teaspoon(s) salt (do not omit)
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cup(s) milk
1/4 cup(s) canola oil
1/2 cup(s) miniature chocolate chips
CINNAMON HONEY SYRUP
1 cup(s) honey
1/2 cup(s) butter..cubed
1-2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon (to taste)

Steps:

  • In a bowl,combine 1st four ingredients. Combine next 3 ingredients;add to dry ingredients & mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour 1/4 cup batter on a lightly greased HOT griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top. Cook until second side is golden brown. Keep warm.
  • Combine syrup ingredients in a 2 cup microwavable safe bowl. Microwave,uncovered,on high until butter is melted and syrup is hot,stirring occasionally. Serve with pancakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
2 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Combine the eggs, buttermilk and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle., Sprinkle each pancake with 2 teaspoon chocolate chips. Turn when bubbles for on top of pancake; cook until second side is golden brown.
