Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°. Mix powdered sugar, almond extract, egg and cream cheese in medium bowl. Stir in Bisquick. Roll or pat dough into 12-inch circle on ungreased cookie sheet. Flute edge if desired. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is light golden brown.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crust. Bake about 1 minute or until chips are melted; spread evenly. Cool 5 minutes. Gently loosen and transfer to serving plate.
- Spread pie filling over chocolate. Heat white baking chips and shortening over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth; drizzle over pie filling.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHERRY COOKIES

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl. In a bowl of an electric mixer, or with a handheld mixer, combine butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and wine and combine. Slowly in batches add the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate and cherries. On a nonstick cookie sheet, place a heaping tablespoon of dough for each cookie about 2 inches apart from each other. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until tops are still soft looking but edges look firm.
CHOCOLATE CHUNK-TART CHERRY COOKIES
Add dried tart cherries to these chocolate chunk cookies for a little spin on chocolate-covered cherries.

- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until fluffy. Add the vanilla and egg and beat to combine.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chunks and dried cherries.
- Scoop slightly mounded tablespoons of the dough and roll into balls. Arrange about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, position oven racks in the top and bottom thirds of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Bake until the cookies are set and golden on the bottom, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat the butter and sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium-high speed, until light and fluffy.
- Beat the egg, coffee granules, and vanilla into the butter and sugar mixture until blended.
- Change the speed to low and pour in the flour mixture. Beat until just combined.
- Stir in semisweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and dried cherries.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough two inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes per batch in the preheated oven, until cookies are just becoming firm.
- Let cool on baking sheets for two minutes.
- Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

- In a small bowl, combine wafer crumbs and sugar; stir in butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of a lightly greased 11-in. fluted tart pan with removable bottom. , Place pan on a baking sheet. Bake at 350° until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack., In a microwave, melt butter and chocolate; stir until smooth. Cool for 10 minutes. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt until thickened, about 4 minutes. Blend in chocolate mixture. Stir in flour and mix well. , Pour into crust; spread evenly. Bake at 350° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes. I created these after a trip up north to Traverse City, Michigan's Cherry Festival. Wonderful with their dried cherries! A big hit wherever I take them!

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease baking sheets. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Beat the unsalted butter, butter flavored shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time; beat in the vanilla extract and almond extract with the last egg. Mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated. Fold in the cherries, walnuts, pecans, and chocolate chunks, mixing just enough to evenly combine. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until browned around the edges, 11 to 13 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes; remove cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
