BANANA PUDDING DREAM BARS
These Banana Pudding Dream Bars take your favorite banana pudding to the next level with an Oreo layer, fresh bananas and a sweet cream cheese layer.

Steps:
- In a blender or food processor, finely crush 20 of the Oreo cookies.
- Put the butter into a medium microwavable bowl, and place into the microwave for 30 seconds or until completely melted.
- Add the cookies to the butter and mix until well moistened. Press into an ungreased 8 X 8-inch baking dish.
- Place into the freezer to chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix the package of pudding with the 1 1/2 cups of milk in a small bowl.
- Mash one of the bananas.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the mashed banana and cream cheese. Add in the confectioners' sugar, and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in 1 cup of the Cool Whip or stabilized whipped cream, and mix until well blended.
- Slice the two remaining bananas and place over the cooled crust.
- Place dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the bananas and with an offset spatula, gently spread to completely cover.
- Evenly spread the pudding over the cream cheese mixture.
- Top with the remaining Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate for at least two hours.
- Place the 8 remaining Oreos into a plastic bag and crush. Sprinkle on top of the bars before serving.

CHOCOLATE DIPPED BANANAS

- Peel and cut the bananas in half crosswise, so that you have 8 pieces. Place peeled bananas on sticks. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Place bananas on the cookie sheet in the freezer, keep them in there as long as possible, at least 10 minutes. Heat chocolate bits with butter in a double boiler over low heat until the chocolate melts and butter is incorporated. Dip the chilled bananas in chocolate and roll with your favorite topping. Chill or freeze until ready to serve.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks. Beat in the bananas, sour cream and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well., In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter. Transfer to two greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely., For filling, in a small bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Cover and refrigerate until chilled., In a small bowl, beat frosting until light and fluffy. Place bananas in a small bowl; toss with lemon juice., Place one cake layer on a serving plate; spread with 3 tablespoons frosting. Stir pudding; spread half over the frosting. Top with half of the bananas and the remaining cake layer. Repeat frosting, filling and banana layers. Frost sides and decorate top edge of cake with remaining frosting. Store in the refrigerator.
