CHEESY CHILI DOG WRAPS

Corn tortillas and Old El Paso® salsa put a southwestern spin on chili dogs in this easy, five-ingredient entrée.

10 soft corn tortillas (5 to 6 inch)
10 vegetarian hot dogs
1 can (15 oz) vegetarian chili
1 jar (16 oz) Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Soften tortillas as directed on package.
  • Place 1 hot dog and 2 tablespoons chili on each tortilla. Roll up tortillas; place seam sides down in baking dish. Spoon salsa over tortillas.
  • Spray large sheet of foil with cooking spray; place sprayed side down on baking dish and seal tightly. Bake 25 minutes. Remove foil; sprinkle cheese over wraps. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

10 hot dogs
1 (15 ounce) can chili
2 cups salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or 1 cup monterey jack cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches.
  • Soften tortillas as directed on package.
  • Place 1 hot dog and 3 T chili on each tortilla.
  • Roll up tortillas; place seam side down in baking dish.
  • Spoon salsa over tortillas.
  • Cover and bake 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake uncovered about 5 minutes longer until cheese is melted.

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2 inches.

One night it was just me and the kids and we wanted a quick dinner. We came up with this and the kids loved it. I liked it too as it was quick, easy and tasty!

8 hot dogs
2 (15 ounce) cans chili or 4 cups homemade chili
2 cups cheddar cheese
8 flour tortillas
1 cup chopped onion (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook hot dogs according to package. I make mine in the microwave when cooking this recipe but it is more time consuming this one because I make one at a time.
  • Warm chili in microwave until hot.
  • Warm wraps in microwave according to package directions.
  • Place one hot dog, chili and cheddar cheese (as much as you like - we like a lot of both) in a wrap. Add onions if desired. Serve.
