2/3 cup chili sauce
2/3 cup spicy steak sauce
1/2 cup chopped shallots
1/2 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
4 boneless beef top loin steaks (8 ounces each)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the chili sauce, steak sauce, shallots and beer. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 12-15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Set aside 1/2 cup for serving and keep warm. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper., Lightly oil the grill rack. Grill steaks, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), basting occasionally with sauce mixture. Serve with reserved sauce.

A zesty blend of steak sauce, chili sauce, beer and green onions is brushed over steaks during grilling for an easy and delicious entree.

2/3 cup A.1. Original Sauce
2/3 cup HEINZ Chili Sauce
1/2 cup beer
1/2 cup green onion slices
4 boneless beef sirloin steaks (8 oz. each), 1 inch thick

Steps:

  • Preheat grill to high heat. Mix steak sauce, chili sauce, beer and onions in small saucepan. Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally. Remove 1/4 cup of the steak sauce mixture. Set remaining steak sauce mixture aside for serving with the cooked steak; cover to keep warm.
  • Grill steaks 6 to 8 min. on each side or until cooked through, brushing frequently with the 1/4 cup steak sauce mixture.
  • Serve with the warm steak sauce mixture.
