3 tbsps butter
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
3 fl oz cream, heavy
0.12 tsp garlic powder
8 oz chicken breast, bite sized pieces
8 oz green beans, french-sliced, frozen

Steps:

  • In microwaveable casserole dish, cook frozen french-sliced green beans as directed on package, adding a few minutes to cooking time until beans are soft and no longer tender.
  • Add butter, cream, and garlic powder to beans; cook another minute and stir to combine.
  • Add parmesan cheese to beans, stir and leave covered.
  • Heat prepared chicken pieces until warmed through. Place 1/2 of green bean mixture on each serving plate. Top with 1/2 of chicken on each.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired.

This is a super-simple recipe that I got off the back of a fettucini box and tried on my kids during their "picky months"...They LOVED it! It's so simple, I'm almost afraid to post it...But I wanted to save it because the kids ask for it a lot.

8 ounces fettuccine pasta
1 1/4 cups prepared alfredo sauce (I use Classico Alfredo with sun dried tomatoes)
2 (14 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
1 1/4 cups cooked chicken strips (I usually use Tyson frozen Chicken Fajita Strips)
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon fresh basil (finely chopped) or 1 teaspoon sage (finely chopped)

Steps:

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and butter liberally. Return to saucepan.
  • Meanwhile, heat Alfredo sauce, green beans and chicken in a medium saucepan. Stir. Toss well with hot pasta.
  • Transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with basil or sage.

2 (9 ounce) packages frozen green beans, thawed
1 (2 7/8 ounce) can French fried onion rings
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Combine Alfredo sauce, beans, 1/2 of the onions and pepper.

2 can(s) cut green beans drained
6 oz cooked chicken strips
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese

2 boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
1/4 cup olive oil, divided
1/4 cup fresh green chilies, roasted and chopped or 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chili peppers
2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
1 (10 ounce) jar prepared alfredo sauce
10 ounces spinach fettuccine, cooked al dente
2 jalapenos, seeded, chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the olive oil and brown the chicken pieces until lightly browned and cooked through.
  • Remove the cooked chicken to a plate and keep warm.
  • If necessary, add the remaining 2 tablespoons oil to the skillet and sauté the garlic and green chile over medium heat until the garlic is soft.
  • Reduce the heat to medium low, add the Alfredo sauce and mix well.
  • Add the cooked chicken and heat through.
  • Serve over hot fettuccine and garnish with chopped jalapenos if desired.
