These cookies are really chewy and addictive.

½ cup butter, softened
½ cup peanut butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped semisweet chocolate

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the corn syrup, water, and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chunks. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

1 ½ cups butter, melted
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups peanut butter chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into the butter mixture. Mix in peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Cool for 1 minute before placing on wire racks to cool completely.

These peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies are soft and chewy. everyone who has tried them say they are really good. You can add nuts, raisins, coconut, etc. if desired. I use chunky peanut butter.

1 stick of margarine or butter
1 3/4 c self rising flour
1 c light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1/2 c peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp milk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • 2. melt margarine or butter to soften.
  • 3. combine margarine or butter with peanut butter, egg, vanilla and milk in mixing bowl. Mix well by hand or with electric mixer.
  • 4. Add flour, brown sugar and chocolate chips to mixture and mix well.
  • 5. spoon teaspoonfuls of cookie mixture onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • 6. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Do not over bake for chewy cookies.
  • 7. Remove cookies from cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Store in tightly sealed container after cooling.

Place cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are lightly browned.
