CHEESY HOT CRAB DIP
This Cheesy Hot Crab Dip is the ultimate party snack! Lump crab meat is baked into this luxurious dip with cream cheese, sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese and few dashes of hot sauce.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream in a medium mixing bowl and stir until creamy. Add remaining ingredients and stir again until well combined. Transfer to a small baking dish and transfer to oven.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until browned and bubbly.
- Serve with crackers, baguette slices, or tortilla chips.
- Add the ingredients to a small (3- to 4-quart) slow cooker, stir to combine, and set it on LOW for 2 hours. It needs to cook until the cream cheese melts completely. Stir the dip and then let it cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes.
- It should keep well for up to an hour on the KEEP WARM or LOW setting. Be sure to stir it occasionally to prevent it from burning or separating.

Steps:
- Heat oven 400°F. Lightly grease square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir crabmeat, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, the celery, onions and bell pepper in baking dish.
- Beat remaining ingredients except the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese in blender on high speed 15 seconds, or with hand beater or wire whisk 1 minute, until blended. Pour over crabmeat mixture.
- Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake about 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Cool 15 minutes before cutting.

- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic and Worcestershire sauce until blended. Stir in crab. Shape mixture into a ball; coat with chives. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate at least 1 hour., Preheat oven to 350°. Cut wonton wrappers diagonally in half; arrange in a single layer on ungreased baking sheets. Spritz with cooking spray; sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Bake 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool. Serve with cheese ball.

Easy to prepare cheeseball. My husband does not like cheeseballs with green or red peppers but likes this because it has crabmeat in it. I think it has a great flavor and is a great appetizer for company.

- 1. Using a collander covered with a paper towel inside, drain the crabmeat until nice and flaky and not moist.
- 2. Blend cream cheese, chives, garlic powder and salt.
- 3. Fold in the crabmeat and mix well.
- 4. Shape mixture into a ball (or a log) and then roll in pecans until the outside is coated.
- 5. Chill at least an hour. Serve with crackers.
