CHEESY CHICKEN BACON RANCH PINWHEELS

Cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pinwheels image

Cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pinwheels are full of everything that I love. Cheese, chicken, bacon and the flavor of ranch, in every single bite!

Provided by @MakeItYours

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 rotisserie chicken, cooked, deboned, shredded
1 pound bacon, chopped, cooked
1 brick (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup cheddar and jack cheese blend, shredded
3/4 cup ranch dressing
baby romaine lettuce or baby spinach
1 tablespoon garlic
4 large (10-12 inches) tortillas
3 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, diced
hot peppers, diced, to taste
hot sauce, to taste

Steps:

  • Debone, chop and shred the chicken and the bacon as finely as possible. The smaller the pieces the better. It will make it easier to create the perfect pinwheel or wrap.
  • Grab a large bowl and add the cream cheese, garlic, dressing, cheese. Using a handheld or stand mixer blend ingredients together until smooth.
  • Fold in green onions, tomatoes, bacon, chicken, and pepper. Taste the mixture and see if you want to add more dressing, pepper or hot sauce to suit your personal taste.
  • Spread a thin layer of your chicken mixture over top of your tortillas, place lettuce or spinach all over the chicken mixture, and then roll the tortilla up, as tightly as possible, without the mixture being forced out the ends of the tortilla. My husband always says to roll them up snugly not tightly.
  • Wrap filled tortillas, seam side down in parchment paper and refrigerate for at least an hour before slicing into pieces or serving these wraps. Enjoy every bite!

Number Of Ingredients 12

Ingredients:
1 tube of crescent roll dough (Reduced fat works just fine for this and you'll never know the difference!)
2 ounces cream cheese, softened (1/3 less fat cream cheese works too!)
5-ish bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c of green onions, chopped
handful or two of cheddar cheese
sprinkling of garlic salt
Directions:
Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch together all the seams. Roll it out with the rolling pin to flatten it a bit.
Spread with 2 ounces of softened cream cheese, right out to the very edges. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Top with the cheese, bacon and green onion as evenly as possible.
Roll it up from long end to long end. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes (this makes them easier to cut).
Slice into about 1/2 inch slices and place on a baking sheet. Bake as directed on the crescent roll package.
